Q: Two different coils have self inductance L1 = 8 mH and L2 = 2 mH. The current in both are increasing at the same constant rate. At a certain instant of time, the power given to the two coils is the same. At this moment the current, the induced voltage and energy stored in the first coil are i1 , V1 and U1 respectively. The corresponding values in the second coils are i2, V2 and U2 respectively. Then the values of i1/i2 , V1/V2 and U1/U2 are respectively

Sol: $\large \frac{i_1}{i_2} = \frac{L_2}{L_1} = \frac{2}{8} = \frac{1}{4}$
